Kos

Hi,

This summer i went to Kos island with my best friends: Kotaki sisters. We had great fun there, in Kardamena. We stayed in lovely hotel Kardamena Holiday Apartments:) Thanks to a friend, we went to a 5 star hotel there and enjoyed the luxury too:)

Kotaki sisters

We travelled with that flying dolphine from Samos to Kos. It was such a nice experience. I've seen all the Turkish coast and tiny Greek islands on the way.

We went to Kardamena because we heard it is famous for its nighlife which turned out that the nightlife was for young (stupit) British people.

Kos island

The island is one of the closest islands to Turkey. You could see Turkish coast-Bodrum- very clearly.

Capri

A very famous Italian Island in Mediterranean

Hello,

It is very true that i am in love with greek islands; however, it does not mean that I am not with the Italian ones:) Here is the island Capri, the very first island I have visited in my life in 2010.

To tell the truth though, personally I do not like the tourist attractions and crowd, so Samos or other tiny Greek islands are much more beautiful than an island like Capri. During the summer, Capri is full of posh Italians who are coming (mostly) from the north with all of their Gucci & Prada stuff.  Not considering that fact, and overseeing the posh shops in the center; the nature is very beautiful there.

Andros

My first encounter with Greek Islands

Hello,

This post is about my first Greek island which one of the closest islands to Athens: Andros. It was my first meeting with awesome greek organized beach system. You can drink and get drunk on the beach! that was awesome for me cuz I was only 20 years old when I was there.
It is very close to Athens so you can spend a weekend there if you do not wanna spend a lot of time on the ferry. The departures for the ferry is from Rafina port. Don't go to Pireas in order to get Andros.
Here is some info about it: Andros

Corinth Canal

The narrowest channel

Hi,

During my return from Italy in 2011, I used the ferry from Ancona to Patras which provided me amazing weeks in Greece before I entered Turkey from Kusadasi.
Here is wikipedia link for some info: Corinth Canal

I was lucky enough to be able to stop in Corinth Canal which literally amazed me.

Those are taken by me.

Bungee jumping in Corinth is a very famous activity.

I walked down to see and I really really wanted to jump. On the way I was almost persuaded to do so! Jump there, pack, and continue my trip.

There was a Polish boy who was about to jump when I got there.

It was then when I realized I cannot do it! Seeing a guy jumping and falling down that fast, I freaked out!

I know that once I couldn't and I still do not feel comfortable to try bungee jumping; however, I am sure of myself that I will be able to jump one day; because bungee jumping is on my list to do before I die...

Tsamadou Beach

An old famous hippy destination

Hi fellows,

I started with the beauties of Samos and I am gonna continue with it. I spent two awesome months there and now I wanna go and live there every summer. A part of me will be missing if i will not be spending the whole summer in this small paradise which is located so close to my own country.

Before showing you how breathtaking the Tsamadou Beach is, I wanna talk a little it about how this well i could get to know the island.

I started to believe in Karma there; because I was a wreck emotionally when I first went there, and thanks to Karma, I was as lucky as i could have never ever imagined. I had the best of everything there! I even got a job by just a pure luck! I was the only Turkish Tour guide of Samos. Once a week, I was having an island tour with the Turkish people coming from Izmir. Thanks to my job, besides being paid very well (way enough for my drinks in Hippy's for a week) I also had the chance to see places i had never seen, or the amazing food i had never had the chance to eat. In my following posts, you will see how wonderful life i had there. Like Italians say: La Dolce Vita!

    Tsamadou Beach, Samos

When I first saw here in my first time in Samos in 2011, I just felt like I was in a fairy tale. It is... Tsamadou is located at the North of the island just next to the other amazing beaches like Lemonakia, Avlakia, Tsabou.

During the 80s, the beach was very famous among the hippies and the nudists. Greek men often used to come and watch naked tourists from  the top.  Still the right part of the beach is for the nudists. On the left side on the other hand, there are very well organized beaches and beach bars where you can eat and drink without paying for the umbrellas and chairs. The prices are not high as you might think so by looking its beauty. As all the organized beaches in Greece,  here you pay normal prices for what you eat or drink. You can drink a Espresso Freddo Metrio (my favourite) for 3 euros and spend the whole day there.

This beach bar is called Navagos. I just love it.

If you ever have the chance, don't ever miss it!

Secret Beauties Part 1: Mikro and Megalo Seitani Beaches

Mediterranean Beauties

Hello fellows,

I wanted to start with some stories and awesome scenes from Karlovassi, Samos, Greece. Greece is an amazing country with thousands of big and small islands which make it have millions of awesome beaches.

Here is a picture of Megalo Seitani taken by me after an hour of walking through the forest.

It is located in the north-west of Samos island. You can reach there either by a 50-minute walk from a path, or by a boat. You  get really  tired if you walk the whole way but it is nothing but boring because the view is amazing. Before reaching the megali seitani, you pass two perfect virgin beaches. You can stop by them too. This beach is also a protected area for the monachus-monachus seals.

Here are some other pics of this beauty to amaze you:

If you decide to go there and spend some days, you shouldnt forget to take water and food with you because there are no such facilities there.
I regret that i couldn't go there during the full moon, but i know that i will go in the full moon one day...
